Position: ERP Product Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and strategic ERP Product Manager to lead the planning, development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of our ERP products and solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ERP systems, product planning, business process understanding, client coordination, and cross-functional team management.
The candidate will act as a bridge between clients, business stakeholders, and the development team to ensure successful delivery of scalable and user-focused ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Planning & Strategy
Define and manage the ERP product roadmap aligned with business goals.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and product improvement opportunities.
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business impact and customer requirements.
Conduct competitor analysis and recommend strategic product improvements.
Requirement Gathering & Business Analysis
Interact with clients to understand business workflows and ERP requirements.
Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications for the development team.
Prepare BRD (Business Requirement Documents), user stories, workflows, and process documentation.
Product Development Coordination
Coordinate with development, UI/UX, QA, and implementation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Monitor product development progress and ensure timely delivery.
Participate in sprint planning, product reviews, and release management activities.
Ensure the ERP product is scalable, efficient, and user-friendly.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Conduct product demonstrations and requirement discussions with clients.
Handle client feedback, feature requests, and escalation management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align product goals and delivery expectations.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through continuous product improvements.
Testing & Product Quality
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and product validation.
Ensure product quality, usability, and functionality meet defined standards.
Work closely with QA teams to resolve product issues and improve system performance.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain product documentation, release notes, workflows, and SOPs.
Generate product performance reports and status updates for management.
Track KPIs related to product usage, customer satisfaction, and feature adoption.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of ERP systems and business process workflows
Product lifecycle management experience
Requirement gathering and business analysis expertise
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience in product documentation and user stories
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Coordination experience with technical and non-technical teams
Understanding of databases, APIs, and software workflows
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Technical Knowledge
ERP/CRM/HRMS/Product Management Platforms
SQL basics and database understanding
Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project management tools
Wireframing/documentation tools
Understanding of SaaS products and cloud-based applications
Educational Qualification
B.Tech + MBA equivalent qualification
Certifications in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, or Business Analysis will be an added advantage
Experience Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Management, ERP Solutions, Business Analysis, or related roles
Experience working with ERP products or enterprise software solutions is mandatory
