- DCS & Desk Operations: Handle desk operations of IR-CFBC Boilers, including cold and hot start-ups and controlled plant shut-downs in close coordination with Shift In-charges (S/I) and field officers.
- Process & Parameter Control: Maintain, monitor, and regulate boiler and auxiliary operating parameters strictly within design thresholds and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Emergency & Troubleshooting Management: Swiftly handle operational emergencies, trip conditions, blackouts, line leakages, and critical plant contingencies to minimize downtime.
- Routine Operations & Monitoring: Oversee daily power plant controlling activities via DCS, ensuring optimum thermal efficiency and continuous monitoring of boiler auxiliaries.
- Maintenance & Changeovers: Coordinate planned equipment changeovers as required for preventative maintenance and to enhance machine durability.
- Shutdown & Testing: Prepare and execute Hydrostatic Pressure Tests (Hydro Tests) in compliance with IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) norms during annual plant overhauls.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Guide and direct field engineers/operators; coordinate seamlessly with inter-departmental teams including QC, Utility, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and Coal Handling Plant (CHP).
- Overhauling Support: Assist in major overhauling activities for critical equipment including Boiler Feed Water Pumps (BFP), ID Fans, FD Fans, PA Fans, and valve assemblies.
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- Mandatory Certification: Boiler 1st Class Operator Certificate is strictly mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in thermal/power plant operations.
- Preferred Experience: Direct operational experience with CFBC (Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion) Boilers is strongly preferred.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
