Roles and Responsibilities of an Accounts Executive
- Managing Daily Accounting Activities
- Record financial transactions in accounting software.
- Maintain journals, ledgers, and cash books.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank statements with company records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file GST/VAT, TDS, and other statutory returns (as applicable).
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Payroll Support
- Assist in salary processing and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain payroll records.
- Budgeting and Expense Monitoring
- Track business expenses and ensure they remain within budget.
- Analyze cost variances and recommend improvements.
- Audit Assistance
- Prepare financial documents required for internal and external audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Data Accuracy and Compliance
- Verify financial data for accuracy.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Communication and Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments.
- Resolve payment and billing issues promptly.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software Zoho Book.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
