Key skills required
We are looking for experienced functional resources at Manager level with strong expertise across Retail Liabilities and Cards products, combined with operations/service exposure and the ability to translate business requirements into BRDs and functional documentation. The ideal candidate should possess end-to-end product lifecycle understanding and be comfortable working across business, operations, and technology teams.
Functional Consultant (Retail Liabilities & Cards)
- Drive functional requirement gathering across Retail Liabilities and Cards domains
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process workflows
- Work closely with business, operations, service, and IT teams for solution design and implementation
- Support product enhancements, regulatory changes, and transformation initiatives
- Participate in UAT planning, execution support, and defect resolution
- Ensure alignment between product intent and operational execution
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams
- Support process improvement initiatives across customer servicing lifecycle
Candidates should have strong exposure to:
- Savings Accounts
- Current Accounts
- Term Deposits
- CASA lifecycle management
- Customer onboarding & servicing journeys
- Regulatory compliance impacts on liabilities products
Candidates should have working knowledge of:
- Credit Cards / Debit Cards lifecycle
- Card issuance and servicing
- Transaction lifecycle understanding
- Disputes / chargebacks basics
- Customer servicing operations related to cards
Mandatory experience in:
- Writing BRDs / FRDs
- Requirement elicitation workshops
- Process mapping
- Stakeholder coordination
- Supporting UAT cycles
- Translating product requirements into implementable specifications
Key skills required
- 8+ years of experience end-to-end product lifecycle knowledge
- Experience working in banking transformation or implementation programs
- Exposure to retail liabilities and cards systems
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across functions
- Manager-level ownership mindset and delivery accountability
- Education- B.tech/MBA/BCA/BE
