ICSE English Teacher – Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICSE English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature to students. The ideal candidate should have excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language and Literature as per the ICSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students' grammar, vocabulary, writing, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Guide students in literature analysis, creative writing, and public speaking.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and ICSE Board examinations.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, PTMs, and school activities.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory/Preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in an ICSE school (preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of ICSE English syllabus and assessment pattern.
- Creative lesson planning and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.
Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹400.00 per hour
