Job Title: Desktop Support EngineerJob Summary
We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals. The ideal candidate should have experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, and basic network issues while ensuring timely resolution of user concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Install and configure Windows 10/11, device drivers, and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Office, Office 365, and Outlook.
- Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP-related issues.
- Perform system updates, antivirus installation, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage IT support tickets and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
- Install and replace hardware components such as RAM, SSD, HDD, keyboards, and monitors.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or Technical Support Engineer.
Preferred Skills
- Basic Windows Server Administration
- Microsoft Intune or SCCM
- Basic VMware or Hyper-V knowledge
- CompTIA A+, MCSA, or equivalent certification (Preferred)
