Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Room Attendant role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms to brand standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and removing trash and used linens. The role includes handling guest laundry or linen, restocking housekeeping carts and supply closets, and reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. The Room Attendant will follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, adhere to established cleaning checklists, and ensure that all rooms and public areas assigned are presented in a clean, orderly, and welcoming condition. The position also involves responding courteously to guest requests, collaborating with the front office and maintenance teams, and supporting other housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Housekeeping and Clean Rooms skills, with the ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Laundry handling skills, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and proper care of linens and guest items.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues and respond effectively to requests and feedback.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, manage time efficiently, and handle a physically demanding role (standing, bending, lifting, and moving carts).
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude; prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, and to follow all safety, security, and cleanliness procedures set by the hotel.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
