Role Overview
You'll support senior auditors, managers, and partners in executing statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Vouch and verify invoices, contracts, and supporting documents against ledgers and journal entries
- Perform bank, vendor, and inter-branch reconciliations (BRS, party ledgers)
- Assist with balance confirmations (debtors, creditors, banks, FDs)
- Attend physical verification of stock, fixed assets, and cash
- Conduct sample-based analytical and substantive testing
- Verify TDS applicability, rates, challans, and return filings
- Reconcile GST (GSTR-2B/2A vs. purchase register, ITC eligibility, GSTR-1/3B turnover)
- Check Companies Act, CARO, and related-party compliance
- Prepare draft Form 3CD particulars (40A(2), 43B, depreciation)
- Maintain audit working papers, schedules, and lead sheets per Standards on Auditing
- Coordinate with client accounting teams and assist in draft reporting
Requirements
- B.Com / BBA (Finance or Accounting)
- CA Inter / IPCC (one or both groups) or ongoing/completed articleship; CMA/ACCA candidates welcome
- 0–2 years in a CA firm or accounting practice
- Proficiency in TallyPrime / Tally.ERP 9, Busy, Zoho Books, and tax software (SAP/QuickBooks a plus)
- Intermediate–advanced Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, conditional formatting)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
