Full job description

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated technology enthusiast who have between 8-12 years of hard-core quality assurance and software automation development experience, who can be a part of our mission. You'll be responsible for:

Developing and implementing automation testing strategy
Evaluate and select testing tools and technologies
Identify areas for process improvement
Establish and enforce coding standards and guidelines
Collaborate with project managers on test planning and estimation
Act as a liaison between the testing team and stakeholders
Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, and priorities.
Understand application architecture and guide in in-depth automation and ensuring all aspects of the quality are addressed
Oversee design and maintenance of automation frameworks
Manage and communicate testing progress, results, and issues
Identify and manage testing-related risks
Ensure scalability and reusability of automation code
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Align automation efforts with overall development process
Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training
Lead and mentor automation engineers
Foster a collaborative team culture
You shall be hands-on in with respect to development of tests

Ideally you should have:

Proficiency in WebdriverIO (WDIO) and its features
Strong command of JavaScript and Node.js and different libraries
Design and implementation of scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
Experience with testing frameworks like Chai, Mocha, Jasmine, Cucumber and more
Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
Version control systems, particularly Git, for code management and collaboration
Performance testing tools and techniques for assessing web application scalability and security.
In depth understanding of web technologies, micro services architecture and good hold on identifying vulnerabilities in application.
Good grip on containerization and deployment strategies
Good understanding of OWASP guidelines and understanding of application Vulnerabilities and providing guidance to detect them and address them.
Familiarity with tools for managing test data and ensuring its accuracy and security
Attention to detail to ensure thorough test coverage
Ability to identify and discuss Non Functional cases during the course of application development to avoid bottlenecks in application.
Excellent ability to provide metrics and articulate information with clarity and simplicity to various stack holders.
Define work activities and set up dashboards in JIRA

Nice to have:

Ability to manage and provision instances and work with AWS Cloud Platform.
Understanding of cloud networking concepts (virtual networks, subnets, security groups).
Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
