We are looking for Quality Control Engineer (QC Executive)
Job Purpose
To ensure that every lubricant batch produced by ST KOOL meets the required quality standards before dispatch through accurate testing, effective quality control practices, scientific analysis of customer complaints, and continuous support for product improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality testing of all production batches before dispatch authorization.
- Verify batch specifications against approved quality parameters such as viscosity, color, pH, density, and chemical balance.
- Issue batch clearance reports and certify products that meet quality standards.
- Identify, quarantine, and coordinate corrective actions for non-conforming batches.
- Analyze returned product samples and investigate quality-related complaints.
- Prepare corrective action reports and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Distinguish between manufacturing defects, handling issues, and storage-related concerns.
- Share laboratory findings and batch quality reports with the Production Lead and management.
- Recommend chemical corrections, additive requirements, or rework actions for non-conforming batches.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and product consistency across production batches.
- Ensure laboratory safety, equipment calibration, documentation accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of lubricants, industrial chemicals, base oils, and additives.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and quality control procedures.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve product quality issues.
- Proficiency in quality documentation, reporting, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Eligibility
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control, Laboratory Testing, or Chemical Analysis.
- Experience in the lubricant, automotive oil, industrial fluid, or chemical manufacturing industry preferred.
- Practical knowledge of viscosity, pH, density, flash point, and related quality testing parameters.
- Ability to independently manage laboratory operations and quality control activities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
