Project Role Description : Plan and lead the execution of a comprehensive deployment plan, including work planning, scheduling, budgeting, metrics, training, pilots, and resources. Collaborate with all project teams to manage interdependencies, ensure alignment between all deployment-related activities, and monitor & control progress through the deployment plan.

Summary:
As a Deployment Lead, a typical day involves orchestrating the detailed execution of deployment activities by carefully planning and managing schedules, budgets, and resources. This role requires close collaboration with various project teams to ensure all deployment efforts are synchronized and interdependencies are effectively managed. Monitoring progress against the deployment plan and making necessary adjustments to maintain alignment and achieve project goals are key aspects of the daily routine. Additionally, facilitating training sessions and pilot runs to prepare teams for deployment forms an integral part of the responsibilities, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure seamless deployment activities.
- Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies related to deployment processes.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Application Performance Optimization.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Database Architecture.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and enhance application performance on mainframe systems.
- Ability to interpret complex system metrics and translate them into actionable deployment strategies.
- Experience in managing deployment schedules, resource allocation, and budget control.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Mainframe Application Performance Optimization.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
