Job Overview
We are looking for a high-performing, commercially sharp Store Manager to oversee the daily operations, sales targets, and team management at our premium Royaloak Furniture showroom. You will be responsible for driving the store's profitability, maintaining luxury visual merchandising standards, and leading a team of 8–15 showroom sales executives to crush their monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Own the monthly and annual sales targets of the entire showroom. Analyze daily sales metrics and implement local marketing/sales strategies to increase footfall and conversion rates.
- Team Leadership & Motivation: Manage, train, and mentor the Showroom Sales Executives. Conduct morning huddles, assign daily individual targets, and ensure the staff is highly motivated to earn incentives.
- Visual Merchandising (VM): Ensure the showroom layouts match Royaloak’s national aesthetic guidelines. Furniture displays, bedroom sets, sofas, and dining layouts must look pristine, clean, and premium at all times.
- Customer Experience & Escalations: Maintain exceptional customer service standards on the floor. Personally step in to close high-ticket luxury furniture deals and handle complex customer complaints or delivery delays smoothly.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Oversee inventory accuracy, prevent stock damage, coordinate with the warehouse team for seamless home deliveries, and manage the order fulfillment process.
- Audit & Compliance: Take full ownership of daily store opening/closing procedures, cash/POS management, daily reporting to corporate retail heads, and internal store audits.
Required Candidate Profile (Specifications)
- Industry Expert: Deep understanding of furniture materials (Solid wood, engineered wood, fabric types, leatherette) and space layouts to guide the team on how to pitch effectively.
- Leadership Mindset: Proven track record of managing a retail team and handling target pressure effortlessly.
- Excellent Communication: Must be fluent in English and the [Insert Local Language, e.g., Hindi/Kannada] to confidently interact with elite walk-in clients.
- Analytical Skills: Basic knowledge of retail KPIs (Average Bill Value, Footfall Conversion Ratio, Sales per Sq. Ft.).
- Availability: Comfortable working on weekends (Saturday & Sunday are peak business days in furniture retail). Weekly off will be provided on a weekday.
