The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Director of Sales to own and grow the India aerospace and UXV market.
This role is designed for a hunter, a senior technical sales leader with a strong record of accomplishment selling into drone OEMs, defense primes, and aerospace integrators across India.
You will be responsible for identifying major opportunities, building executive relationships, and closing strategic deals with companies shaping the future of uncrewed aviation.
If you have successfully sold complex aerospace systems into India OEMs or defense programs, this is an opportunity to take a category-defining propulsion technology to market.
What You Will Do
- Own and grow the India sales territory for ePropelled’s electric propulsion and power systems.
- Develop strategic relationships with drone OEMs, aerospace manufacturers, defense contractors, and UAS integrators.
- Drive new business across India aerospace hubs.
- Lead complex technical sales cycles involving engineering teams, procurement leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities within defense programs, ISR platforms, VTOL aircraft, and advanced UAV systems.
- Work directly with engineering and product leadership to align solutions with customer platform requirements.
- Represent ePropelled at major India aerospace and defense events.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities with clear forecasting and CRM discipline.
What We Are Looking For
Proven India Aerospace Sales Leader
You should bring:
- Overall 20 years and relevant atleast 10+ years of technical B2B sales experience in aerospace, defense, UAV systems, or advanced propulsion technologies.
- Demonstrated success selling into India aerospace markets, including drone manufacturers, defense primes, or aerospace suppliers.
- Established relationships with India UAV OEMs, aerospace integrators, and defense programs.
- Strong understanding of electric propulsion systems, motors, ESCs, battery management systems, or hybrid-electric architectures.
- Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.
- Ability to operate independently and travel across India.
Highly Valuable Experience
- Sales into India drone OEMs or defense UAV programs
- Experience with Group 1–3 UAV platforms or VTOL systems
- Knowledge of India defense procurement and aerospace supply chains
- Background in aerospace engineering, power electronics, or propulsion systems
