Job Description – Welding Section In-Charge Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Welding Section In-Charge to oversee daily welding operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing welders, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and following safety procedures. Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily welding operations. • Manage and guide welders and shop-floor workers. • Ensure production targets are completed on time. • Monitor welding quality and minimize defects. • Read and understand engineering drawings. • Ensure proper use of welding machines and consumables. • Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Stores departments. • Maintain production and welding records. • Ensure safety and 5S practices are followed in the welding shop. • Train welders and improve their skills. Qualifications • Diploma or B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. • Welding certification will be an added advantage. Experience • 8–10 years of experience in welding. Required Skills • Knowledge of MIG, TIG, MAG, and Arc Welding. • Ability to read engineering drawings. • Basic knowledge of WPS, PQR, and welding quality standards. • Good leadership and team management skills. • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Industry Manufacturing, Engineering, Heavy Engineering, Cement Plant Equipment, or Industrial Machinery.
Pay: ₹30,086.00 - ₹50,377.88 per month
