Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Pune City. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and functional needs, and translate these into cohesive design concepts aligned with Papillon’s Italian-inspired luxury furniture offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing mood boards and presentations, preparing interior layouts, specifying materials and finishes, and coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment selections. The role involves producing detailed drawings, working closely with architects, vendors, and craftspeople, and overseeing project execution to ensure designs are implemented to the required quality standards and timelines. The Interior Designer will also support showroom and display layouts, contribute to design innovation, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in interior design and space planning to create functional, aesthetically refined luxury interiors.
- Working knowledge of architecture and construction drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure accurate execution.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification, especially in high-end or custom furniture environments.
- Strong design visualization skills, including competency with CAD or interior design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Attention to detail, sense of proportion and materials, and ability to align designs with premium Italian-inspired styling.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly and manage feedback constructively.
- Ability to work on-site, coordinate with vendors and craftspeople, and manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field; prior experience in luxury residential or high-end furniture projects is an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
