Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced VMC Operator with strong programming and machine operating skills. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Fanuc Control, be capable of independently setting up, programming, and operating VMC machines, and ensure production of high-quality components within specified tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate VMC machines with Fanuc Control.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Perform machine setting, workpiece alignment, and prove-out of new programs.
- Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments.
- Make program offsets and machine adjustments during production.
- Maintain required production quantity while ensuring quality standards.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Indicator.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns, tooling issues, and quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and 5S practices.
- Maintain production records and job documentation accurately.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VMC machine operating and programming.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc Control.
- Experience in machine setup and process optimization.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of machining materials such as Mild Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Tool Steel.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant certification in VMC Programming is an added advantage.
Working Hours
- Shift: 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM (12 Hours)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
