About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Field Sales Officer to join our sales team. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting potential customers, understanding their requirements, and promoting our solar energy solutions.
This role is suitable for both freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of sales experience. Training and product knowledge support will be provided to selected candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits and meet potential customers for lead generation.
- Identify new sales opportunities and approach prospective customers.
- Explain solar panel and solar energy solutions to customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Follow up with leads and convert prospects into customers.
- Maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets.
- Maintain regular records of leads, customer interactions and sales activities.
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
- Stay updated about company products, services and offerings.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in field sales, direct sales or a similar role.
- Freshers with good communication and interpersonal skills are welcome.
- Good verbal communication and customer-handling skills.
- Comfortable with field visits and meeting customers.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of solar panels/solar energy is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn solar products and sales processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Candidates with prior field sales experience will be preferred.
