Job Purpose
To ensure efficient management of spare parts inventory, timely availability of parts for workshop and retail counter sales, and achievement of parts sales targets while maintaining OEM standards and inventory norms.
Key Responsibilities. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum inventory levels as per OEM guidelines
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving parts
- Ensure proper binning and part identification
- Conduct daily stock verification and monthly physical stock audit
- Control inventory ageing and dead stock
Workshop Support
- Ensure timely supply of parts to technicians
- Coordinate with Service Advisors for job card requirements
- Minimize vehicle idle time due to non-availability of parts
- Track back-order parts and follow up with OEM / suppliers
Parts Sales
- Achieve monthly retail and workshop parts sales targets
- Promote value-added parts and accessories
- Handle counter sales and customer inquiries professionally
- Cross-sell and upsell genuine parts
D. Ordering & Procurement
- Prepare daily/weekly parts order as per consumption
- Follow OEM ordering system
- Monitor GRN (Goods Receipt Note) process
- Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward stock
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain parts ledger and stock register
- Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports
- Report shortages, discrepancies, and damages
- Monitor parts gross profit and stock turnover ratio
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Parts sales achievement (%)
- Inventory turnover ratio
- Parts availability rate (%)
- Ageing stock control (< 90 days target)
- Order fill rate

Required Skills & Competencies

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical
- 2–5 years experience in automobile spare parts department
