Job Summary
The High School Hindi Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Hindi to students in Grades 9–12. The teacher will develop students' proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension while fostering an appreciation for Hindi literature, grammar, and culture. The role requires creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Hindi lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach Hindi language, grammar, literature, composition, and communication skills.
- Prepare annual, term, and weekly lesson plans.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, classwork, tests, and examinations.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Prepare students for board examinations and other assessments.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Encourage reading habits, creative writing, and effective communication in Hindi.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Establish classroom routines that promote respect, participation, and accountability.
- Encourage active student engagement and collaborative learning.
Student Development
- Identify students requiring academic support and provide remedial instruction where necessary.
- Motivate students to achieve their academic potential.
- Support students' overall personal, emotional, and social development.
Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and academic performance.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and interdisciplinary learning.
- Work closely with the Academic Coordinator and Principal to achieve academic objectives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate attendance records, assessment data, and student progress reports.
- Complete report cards and academic documentation within prescribed timelines.
- Participate in examination duties, school committees, and other responsibilities assigned by the school.
Professional Development
- Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and faculty training sessions.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes, teaching methodologies, and educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hindi or a related subject.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Hindi is preferred.
- CTET/TET qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in a CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB school.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
