Job Summary
The Lab Technician is responsible for demonstrating, testing, calibrating, maintaining, and supporting surgical and diagnostic equipment. The role includes assisting customers with product installation, troubleshooting, training, and ensuring equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications. The technician also supports the sales and service teams by providing technical expertise during product demonstrations and post-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance of surgical and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for customers.
- Provide application support and basic user training to healthcare professionals and laboratory staff.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements when required.
- Maintain service records, installation reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure all equipment complies with quality and safety standards.
- Assist the sales team during customer visits by providing technical expertise.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers for technical updates, warranty claims, and spare parts.
- Perform periodic quality checks on equipment before delivery and installation.
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for service activities.
- Stay updated on new technologies, products, and industry standards.
- Travel to customer locations for installation, service, and technical support as required.
Pay: ₹8,198.83 - ₹27,940.95 per month
