Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated High School Mathematics Teacher to join our CBSE school in Ballari, Karnataka. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make Mathematics engaging and easy to understand for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to High School students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans and engaging classroom activities.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly using practical and innovative teaching methods.
- Develop students' logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.
- Conduct regular tests and assessments and evaluate student performance.
- Provide additional academic support and remedial classes to students who require assistance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Track and maintain accurate records of students' academic progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, examinations, school events, and other academic activities.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and the school administration to improve academic outcomes.
- Use smart boards, digital resources, and technology-based teaching tools where required.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.Ed. is preferred/required.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the CBSE curriculum.
- Good English communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous CBSE school teaching experience is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good teaching aptitude may also apply.
