Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B. Tech in mechanical, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in programming
- Create CNC programs for 5-axis VMC machines using CAM software like Mastercam, SolidCAM, or PowerMill.
3️ Required Skills
- Knowledge of G-code & M-code programming.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, NX, etc.).
- Understanding of 5-axis machining strategies.
- Ability to read GD&T and technical drawings.
- Tool selection and machining process knowledge.
- Read engineering drawings and 3D models and convert them into machining programs.
- Set tools, fixtures, offsets, and work coordinates on the machine.
- Optimize cutting parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut).
- Run trial programs and troubleshoot errors.
- Ensure part accuracy using measuring tools like vernier, micrometer, or CMM.
- Maintain program documentation and production reports.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams.
