Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform physical assessments, monitor vital signs, and provide direct care to ill, injured, or recovering patients.
- Medical Tasks: Administer medications, initiate infusions, perform diagnostic tests, and manage treatments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed reports in electronic health records (EHR) regarding patient conditions and treatment.
- Collaboration & Advocacy: Work within multidisciplinary teams (doctors, specialists) to plan care and advocate for patient needs.
- Education: Educate patients and family members on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a hygienic, safe environment, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and policies.
