Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in Skill Development / Government Projects to manage the complete financial operations of the skilling department. The candidate will be responsible for handling accounts, compliance, budgeting, reimbursements, and financial reporting related to government-funded skill development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting and financial activities for the Skill Development Department.
- Handle financial operations related to Government Skill Development Projects.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, ledgers, and financial records.
- Process payments, reimbursements, and vendor settlements.
- Maintain project-wise budgeting and expense tracking.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management review.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and statutory compliance related to projects.
- Coordinate with auditors and government authorities for audits and documentation.
- Monitor fund utilization and ensure compliance with project guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation for grants, utilization certificates, and project expenses.
- Support management in financial planning and cost optimization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting for Skill Development / Government Projects.
- Experience in handling finance for skilling programs such as NSDC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, or similar projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Good analytical and reporting skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in handling multiple project accounts simultaneously.
- Strong documentation and audit handling capabilities.
