Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cost Manager to monitor, analyze, and control product and operational costs. The candidate will be responsible for cost accounting, budgeting, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain product costing, BOM (Bill of Material), and standard costing.
- Analyze manufacturing, production, and operational costs.
- Conduct monthly cost variance analysis and provide corrective recommendations.
- Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, and inventory costs.
- Prepare cost sheets for new and existing products.
- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Cost Control.
- Expertise in Product Costing, BOM Analysis, and Inventory Management.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Qualification
- CMA (Inter/Final) / CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com
- Additional certification in Cost Accounting will be preferred.
- Experience
- Experience in Manufacturing, Plastic, Packaging, FMCG, Engineering, or Industrial sectors preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy of product costing.
- Cost reduction achieved annually.
- Inventory variance control.
- Budget vs Actual variance management.
- Timely submission of costing and MIS reports.
- Improvement in gross margin and profitability.
- Preferred Industry: Manufacturing / Plastic Injection Molding / Packaging / Industrial Products.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Neemrana, Rajasthan 301705: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
