WTP Technician – Installation, Commissioning & Service
About the Role
Aquaneeta Industries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a WTP Technician to handle the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Water Treatment Plants and RO Plants at customer sites.
The technician will be responsible for ensuring proper installation and commissioning of systems and providing reliable technical support and maintenance after installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation of Water Treatment Plants and related equipment at customer sites.
- Handle commissioning and start-up of water treatment systems.
- Install and connect pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, filters, dosing systems, electrical panels, and other plant components.
- Conduct testing and inspection after installation and commissioning.
- Perform routine service and preventive maintenance of WTP systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and operational issues.
- Attend breakdowns and carry out necessary corrective maintenance.
- Inspect pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, filters, membranes, dosing systems, and other equipment.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential technical problems.
- Carry out replacement and repair of faulty components when required.
- Maintain proper service reports, commissioning reports, maintenance records, and site documentation.
- Explain basic system operation and maintenance procedures to customers/operators.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards.

Candidate Profile
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related technical fields preferred.
- Experience in WTP, STP, ETP, RO Plant, or water treatment equipment will be an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, electrical panels, piping, valves, filtration systems, and water treatment equipment.
- Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and understand equipment connections is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across Kerala.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
