Job Summary
The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, engineering spares, and finished goods. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely material availability, and effective utilization of SAP for inventory transactions and reporting while maintaining compliance with company policies and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
- Supervise daily store activities including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation, and storage of materials as per established procedures.
- Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices for inventory management.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Purchase and Production departments for material planning.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions.
- Minimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolete stock.
SAP Operations
- Perform Goods Receipt (GRN), Goods Issue (GI), Material Transfer, Stock Adjustment, and Inventory Transactions in SAP.
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in SAP on a real-time basis.
- Generate inventory, consumption, stock aging, and variance reports through SAP.
- Coordinate with Finance and Purchase departments for inventory reconciliation.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain all store-related documents, records, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Follow food safety, GMP, hygiene, and warehouse management standards.
Team Management
- Supervise store assistants, store keepers, and material handlers.
- Allocate daily work and monitor team performance.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and housekeeping within the store area.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics departments.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Diploma/Degree in Material Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, or Inventory Management.
- Experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Biscuit, Bakery, or Processing Industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP ERP is mandatory.

- SAP MM (Material Management) module knowledge.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
