Job Description
VIP Academy is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic MERN Stack Development Trainer to train students, graduates, and working professionals in modern web application development. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in the MERN Stack and a passion for teaching through practical, hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and online training on MERN Stack technologies (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).
- Teach HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, and responsive web design.
- Guide students in developing real-world full-stack applications and capstone projects.
- Explain concepts such as REST APIs, authentication, authorization, JWT, CRUD operations, database integration, and deployment.
- Create lesson plans, presentations, assignments, coding exercises, and assessment materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide technical mentoring and career guidance.
- Assist students with resume preparation, portfolio development, mock interviews, and placement readiness.
- Stay up to date with the latest web development technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance course content and training quality.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and student performance reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and GitHub version control.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, JWT Authentication, and database design.
- Knowledge of responsive web development and debugging techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for learners with varying skill levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in MERN Stack development, software development, or technical training.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology is an advantage.
- Experience mentoring students or delivering technical workshops is preferred.
