Position Summary
- Role: Territory Manager
- Location: Patrapada, Bhubaneswar
- Employment Type: Full-time
The Territory Manager will be responsible for overseeing business operations, driving sales growth, and managing market distribution. A core responsibility of this role is team leadership—you will directly manage, mentor, and inspire a local team of executives to meet and exceed business targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, and train field sales executives within the territory.
- Provide daily guidance, set clear performance metrics (KPIs), and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Accompany team members on field visits to provide on-the-ground coaching and support.
- Motivate the team to maintain high morale and achieve collective territory targets.
2. Business Development & Sales Growth
- Own the sales lifecycle and revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities, onboard new clients/retailers, and expand the company's footprint.
- Analyze local market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies.
3. Operations & Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners in Patrapada.
- Ensure seamless product/service distribution and resolve any supply chain or customer service issues promptly.
- Manage territory budgets, sales forecasting, and inventory tracking.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1 to 6 years of experience in sales, business development, or territory management (experience in FMCG, FMCD, Telecom, or B2B commercial sectors is highly preferred).
- Leadership: Minimum 1–2 years of experience successfully managing a team.
- Local Knowledge: Strong geographical familiarity with local environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills to track sales data and team metrics.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
