Job Title: Driver – Automobile Service
Job Summary:
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting customer vehicles, staff, and materials related to automobile service operations. This role ensures timely pickup and delivery of vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles to and from service centers.
- Drive vehicles safely within city limits and occasionally for long-distance trips.
- Ensure proper handling and care of customer vehicles at all times.
- Assist in vehicle movement within the workshop or showroom.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles.
- Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations strictly.
- Coordinate with service advisors and workshop staff for vehicle delivery schedules.
- Maintain records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle condition.
- Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately.
- Support other logistics tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements & Skills:
- Valid driving license (LMV/HMV as required).
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in automobile service or dealership.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Basic understanding of vehicle handling and maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, responsible, and customer-friendly attitude.
