Job Summary
The Centre Head is responsible for the overall academic, administrative, operational, and financial management of the school. The role involves ensuring high-quality education delivery, staff supervision, student development, parent engagement, admissions growth, and compliance with school policies and educational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Ensure effective implementation of the school curriculum and academic policies.
- Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, and student performance.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and academic reviews.
- Introduce innovative teaching methods and learning practices.
- Plan and execute academic calendars, examinations, and assessments.
School Operations
- Oversee day-to-day school administration and smooth functioning.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and a positive learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with education board guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Manage infrastructure, facilities, and resource utilization.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Conduct staff meetings, performance reviews, and professional development programs.
- Build a collaborative and motivated school culture.
Student & Parent Engagement
- Address parent concerns and maintain strong parent relationships.
- Monitor student welfare, attendance, behavior, and overall development.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings, events, and school activities.
Admissions & Business Growth
- Drive student admissions and retention strategies.
- Promote the school within the local community.
- Achieve enrolment and revenue targets.
- Support marketing and outreach initiatives.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets and operational expenses.
- Monitor fee collection and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure cost-effective school operations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Education, Management, or relevant field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in school administration or academic leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
