Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Fitter to join our maintenance team. The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance activities, machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the dairy industry.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Additional technical certifications will be an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience in mechanical maintenance
- At least 4 years of experience in the dairy industry is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment
- Attend machine breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime
- Perform fitting, alignment, assembly, dismantling, and repair of mechanical equipment
- Monitor machine performance and identify maintenance requirements
- Maintain maintenance records and daily activity reports
- Ensure proper upkeep of tools, equipment, and workshop area
- Coordinate with production and utility teams for smooth plant operations
- Follow safety standards and maintenance SOPs during all maintenance activities
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance
- Good understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, and utility equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Team handling and coordination skills
- Basic understanding of safety practices in industrial operations

- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure during breakdown situations
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
