We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities for our food service company. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality food products, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, and other operational requirements at competitive prices while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with food safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management skills, cost control expertise, and experience in food service or hospitality procurement.
- Source and procure food ingredients, groceries, beverages, packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and kitchen equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and kitchen teams to avoid shortages or wastage.
- Ensure purchased products meet quality and food safety standards.
- Compare quotations and prepare purchase orders as per company policies.
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.
- Coordinate with accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
- Handle vendor performance evaluation and resolve supply-related issues.
- Ensure timely procurement for daily operations, events, and catering requirements.
- Monitor monthly procurement budgets and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and statutory regulations.
Required Skills

Salary : 25000 to 70000 PM (Based on Experience)
Experience : 10 years to 15 years
Experience in food service, catering, hospitality, restaurant chains, or FMCG preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
