Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood, urine, stool, sputum, and other patient samples as per laboratory protocols.
- Properly label, store, and transport specimens to avoid contamination.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as assigned by the Pathologist or Lab In-Charge.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Prepare slides, reagents, and testing materials required for laboratory investigations.
- Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of test results.
- Maintain laboratory records, registers, and documentation.
- Follow quality control procedures and laboratory standards.
- Adhere to infection control, biosafety, and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels of laboratory consumables and inform the department head regarding shortages.
- Assist doctors and pathologists in special investigations and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory area.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and test reports.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, doctors, and other departments for sample collection and reporting.
- Perform any other laboratory-related duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
