Job Title: Reservation Associate
Job Summary
The Reservation Associate supports the reservations team by handling guest bookings, responding to inquiries, and ensuring accurate data entry. This role focuses on delivering excellent guest service while assisting in maximizing occupancy and revenue in line with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle room reservations via phone, email, and online channels
- Enter and update booking details in the system accurately (e.g., Opera PMS / other tools)
- Assist guests with reservation queries, changes, and cancellations
- Handle basic guest concerns and escalate complex issues
- Generate daily reservation reports and forecasts
- Support team with group bookings and special requests
- Assist in preparing arrival lists and daily reports
- Promote hotel services and upsell when possible
- Follow pricing and availability guidelines
- Support revenue goals through efficient booking handling
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic experience in hospitality/customer service (preferred)
- Good communication skills in English
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling)
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or Tourism
- Familiarity with hotel booking systems (training provided)
