Position: Team Leader / Project Coordinator
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader / Project Coordinator to manage and supervise field-level agricultural projects focused on farmer engagement, sustainable agricultural practices, and awareness programs related to pesticide reduction and responsible farming initiatives.
The candidate will play a key role in coordinating field teams, monitoring project execution, and ensuring smooth implementation of agricultural development activities among small farmers and Self-Help/Small Tea Grower (STG) communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate field teams for smooth execution of agricultural projects.
- Conduct and supervise awareness programs related to banned pesticide reduction/elimination and sustainable farming practices.
- Build strong relationships with small farmers, STGs, and local stakeholders.
- Organize farmer training sessions, field meetings, and awareness drives.
- Monitor field activities and ensure proper implementation of project objectives.
- Prepare field reports, progress updates, documentation, and project tracking records.
- Ensure accurate collection and maintenance of field data through digital/manual systems.
- Support management in project planning, execution, and reporting processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders whenever required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field-level agricultural or STG-related projects.
- Prior experience in awareness campaigns or pesticide reduction initiatives preferred.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Good understanding of agricultural practices and farmer engagement activities.
- Knowledge of field reporting, documentation, and monitoring systems.
- Ability to travel extensively within field locations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates from North Bengal will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in tea industry/agriculture development projects.
- Ability to manage grassroots-level implementation efficiently.
- Self-motivated, organized, and result-oriented professional.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
