Key Responsibilities:
o Description of the role: The Buyer – Service Purchase is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring various services required by the organization in a cost-effective and timely manner while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards. The role involves managing vendor relationships, processing purchase requisitions, issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted business operations
Qualifications & Experience:
3–5 years of experience in service procurement or indirect purchasing in a manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environment.
Experience in SAP (MM Module) or other ERP systems is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
MBA in Supply Chain/Operations (preferred).
Key Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of service procurement processes and contract management. Understanding of RFQ, RFP, comparative statements, and purchase order management.
Good commercial and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic commercial terms related to service procurement.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
