The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of goods and services required by the organization. The role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, quality compliance, and adherence to company policies while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services as per approved purchase requisitions.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet operational and project requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers.
- Maintain supplier database and vendor documentation.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Monitor procurement expenses against approved budgets.
- Support cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate with stores and warehouse teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Monitor reorder levels and procurement planning.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits by providing procurement documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of procurement information.
- Collaborate with Finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Operations, and Stores departments regarding procurement requirements.
- Resolve supplier-related issues promptly.
- Prepare procurement status reports.
- Track procurement KPIs such as supplier performance, purchase lead time, cost savings, and on-time delivery.
- Provide management with procurement analytics and recommendations.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or EPC projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Understanding of contract terms and commercial practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
