Manager Legal – Corporate Governance & Secretarial
## About the Role
The Manager Legal – Corporate Governance & Secretarial is responsible for ensuring strong corporate governance, board effectiveness, and statutory compliance in accordance with the Companies Act and all applicable regulations.
## Key Responsibilities
- Support Board and Committee processes, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and resolutions
- Ensure strict compliance with the Companies Act and all relevant governance standards
- Manage ROC/MCA filings and all statutory obligations
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records
- Support investor relations, due diligence processes, and overall governance frameworks
- Ensure regulatory and corporate compliance across all group and subsidiary entities
- Drive key governance initiatives, including ESG frameworks (where applicable)
## Requirements
- **Education:** LL.B + Company Secretary (CS) qualification is strongly preferred and highly ideal
- **Experience:** 6–10 years of relevant experience
- **Industry Experience:** Prior experience in NBFCs, corporates, or listed entities is preferred
- **Key Exposure:** Demonstrated exposure to board management and statutory compliance
- **Key Skills:** Strong, in-depth knowledge of the Companies Act and corporate governance frameworks
