About the Role
L'empire Builders & Interiors is looking for an experienced Civil Estimator with a strong background in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and tender documents while coordinating with architects, engineers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Develop accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare tender documents and cost comparisons.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams.
- Monitor project costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare variation orders and estimate revisions during project execution.
- Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Estimator.
- Mandatory experience in residential building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, market rates, and BOQ preparation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of interior fit-out estimation is an added advantage.
- Experience in tendering and contract documentation.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and local building standards.
