Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating daily factory operations for wooden furniture frame manufacturing. The role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards, efficient material usage, workplace safety, and timely delivery.
Experience in Auto Cad is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily production activities and allocate work to factory workers.
- Monitor cutting, machining, assembly, and finishing of wooden furniture frames.
- Read and interpret production drawings and customer specifications.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Check dimensions and maintain accuracy throughout the production process.
- Coordinate with the production, purchase, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor material consumption and implement measures to minimize wastage.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Enforce workplace safety, housekeeping, and company policies.
- Maintain daily production reports, work schedules, and progress records.
- Train, guide, and motivate workers on production methods, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI in Civil, Mechanical, Wood Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in an interior works, wooden furniture, or woodworking manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of wooden furniture manufacturing processes, wood materials, and joinery techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office); AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
