B.Tech Chemical Engineer Trainee
Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated B.Tech Chemical Engineer Trainees to join our Oleoresin and Solvent Extraction Plant. The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training in solvent extraction, downstream processing, quality systems, and plant operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to modern extraction technologies and an excellent opportunity to build a career in the process manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring solvent extraction and downstream processing operations.
- Learn to operate and monitor extractors, evaporators, distillation units, crystallizers, filtration systems, vacuum dryers, and milling equipment.
- Record process parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum, flow rate, and solvent consumption.
- Support senior engineers in maintaining production efficiency and product quality.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, and Utility teams during plant operations.
- Assist in preparing production reports, batch records, and process documentation.
- Follow SOPs, GMP, safety regulations, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Participate in equipment inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager or Process Engineer.
Requirements:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering (Freshers or up to 1 year of experience).
- Basic knowledge of chemical process operations and unit operations.
- Willingness to learn solvent extraction and botanical processing technologies.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and plant environments.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and eagerness to learn.
