Job Summary:
Responsible for leading fabrication production operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, quality standards, timely deliveries, cost control, and optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end fabrication and production activities
- Develop and implement production plans to meet delivery schedules
- Monitor productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
- Manage fabrication processes including welding, cutting, assembly, and finishing
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Coordinate with design, procurement, quality, and maintenance departments
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare production reports, KPIs, and performance reviews
- Lead, train, and mentor production teams
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and manufacturing processes
- Production planning and resource management expertise
- Leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and process optimization
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing operations
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in structural steel fabrication, heavy engineering, industrial equipment manufacturing, or engineering projects
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, production planning, quality control, and process improvement methodologies
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
