Job Summary
Sathya Technosoft is looking for a Field Networking Engineer with experience in Apple MacBook support. The candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, troubleshooting, networking support, and MacBook hardware/software services at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, access points, and Wi-Fi.
- Provide on-site support for Apple MacBook hardware and software issues.
- Install, upgrade, and configure macOS.
- Diagnose and resolve MacBook hardware problems.
- Perform software installation, data backup, and system recovery.
- Configure LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Troubleshoot internet connectivity and network-related issues.
- Coordinate with the technical support team to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain service reports and update job status regularly.
- Ensure timely completion of service calls while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Follow company service standards and safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Apple MacBook hardware and macOS.
- Experience in MacBook troubleshooting and repairs.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with routers, switches, and network configuration.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems is an added advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel for field service.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, Networking, or related field.
Experience
- 1–3 Years of experience in MacBook Service & Support.
- Experience in field networking and customer support is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Apple MacBook servicing.
- Willing to travel across Chennai for customer visits.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
