Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project schedules, including resource allocation, to ensure timely completion of industrial projects and PEB structures.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and constraints.
Conduct feasibility studies and analyse project scopes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Utilize project management software to create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and generate reports.
Monitor project progress against established schedules and budgets, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for project execution.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving any planning-related queries or challenges that arise during project execution.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to coordinate activities and resolve any scheduling conflicts or discrepancies.
Participate in project review meetings to communicate project status, discuss challenges, and propose solutions for improving project performance.
Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in industrial construction and PEB, incorporating relevant innovations into project planning processes.
Must have Knowledge of PMBOK & Project management principles.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
Previous experience as a Planning Engineer in industrial construction, PEB experience preferred.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) desirable.
Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours.
