Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher (Vocal/Instrumental) to inspire students through music, nurture their creativity and performance skills, and create an engaging learning environment that fosters a lifelong appreciation for music.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging vocal and/or instrumental music lessons for students across grade levels.
- Teach music fundamentals, including rhythm, melody, notation, and performance techniques.
- Train students in singing and/or musical instruments based on specialization.
- Prepare students for assemblies, competitions, concerts, and other cultural events.
- Identify and nurture students' musical talent through individual and group activities.
- Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain music instruments, teaching resources, and the music room.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate music into school programs and events.
- Foster creativity, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Certification in Vocal or Instrumental Music is preferred.
- B.Ed. is an added advantage.
- Formal training in Indian Classical, Western Classical, Contemporary, or other recognized music disciplines is desirable.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a school or music academy.
- Freshers with exceptional musical skills and teaching ability are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Strong vocal and/or instrumental music skills.
- Knowledge of music theory and notation.
- Excellent teaching, classroom management, and communication skills.
- Ability to train students and organize performances.
- Creative, patient, and passionate about music education.
- Familiarity with digital music tools is an added advantage.
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
