About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Retired Civil Engineer, preferably from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), to provide technical guidance, project consultation, regulatory support, and liaison assistance for civil construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will leverage their expertise in municipal regulations, approvals, and engineering practices to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation for civil and infrastructure projects.
- Advise on BMC regulations, building permissions, approvals, and compliance requirements.
- Review architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with relevant government departments and authorities when required.
- Assist in obtaining project approvals, NOCs, and statutory clearances.
- Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for quality and safety improvements.
- Support project planning, execution, and monitoring activities.
- Review project estimates, BOQs, tenders, and contractor submissions.
- Ensure compliance with municipal, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance on redevelopment, infrastructure, drainage, roads, and public utility projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil) or equivalent.
- Retired Civil Engineer from BMC or other municipal/government engineering departments preferred.
- Extensive experience in municipal engineering, construction management, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building by-laws, development control regulations, and approval processes.
- Familiarity with government procedures and regulatory frameworks.
