SModi Infrasteel Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its project execution team and is looking for an experienced Site Engineer – PEB to manage the execution of industrial and commercial Pre-Engineered Building projects at site.

Job Description
The Site Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of PEB projects, including structural steel erection, roofing, cladding, quality control, safety compliance, contractor coordination, and site progress monitoring. The candidate should have hands-on experience in PEB site execution and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Execution
- Supervise structural steel erection, sheeting, cladding, trim work, and finishing activities.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor daily site progress and maintain execution records.
- Resolve day-to-day technical and execution-related issues.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with the design, production, dispatch, and procurement teams.
- Manage subcontractors, supervisors, and labour teams.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Report daily progress to the Project Manager and Head Office.
Client & Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate with clients and consultants during site activities.
- Attend site meetings and provide execution updates.
- Support inspections, approvals, and project documentation.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
- Maintain site safety practices and PPE compliance.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and rectify non-conformities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in PEB or Structural Steel Projects.
- Strong knowledge of steel structures, erection methodology, roofing systems, and site execution.
- Experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, and commercial projects.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle site activities independently and meet project timelines.
