Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with mandatory experience in the PEB industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for PEB projects.
Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Vendor Management
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for steel, sheeting, fasteners, and other PEB-related materials.
- Manage vendor development and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure procurement activities meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly based on quality, reliability, and pricing.
Purchase Operations
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand material specifications.
- Track and monitor delivery schedules and follow up for timely supply.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation.
Cost & Inventory Control
- Conduct price comparisons and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and raw material price fluctuations (especially steel).
- Work with stores and project teams to manage inventory levels and avoid shortages.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with logistics for transportation and delivery of materials.
- Resolve vendor disputes, material shortages, or quality issues.
- Prepare MIS reports on purchases, cost analysis, and vendor performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, commerce, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the PEB industry (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of PEB materials, specifications, and industry suppliers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple purchase requirements.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of logistics, import processes, and taxation (GST, transport rules).
- Experience with structural steel and fabrication materials.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
