About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining electrical systems and installations for infrastructure, railway, and construction projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to safety standards, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and supervise electrical systems and installations for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, load calculations, and project documentation.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Ensure timely execution of project milestones and adherence to quality standards.
- Support procurement activities by evaluating electrical materials, equipment, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to minimize project delays and operational disruptions.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Valid Electrical Engineering License/Certification as required by applicable regulations (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, power distribution systems, and electrical safety standards.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.
- Experience in railway projects, infrastructure projects, or construction projects will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in site supervision, project execution, testing, and commissioning is preferred.
